Also remember:
- Choose the correct thickness – using the right thickness ensures safety
- Detailed technical specifications and product perfomance can be found in the product’s Declaration of Performance (DoP)
- Machined panels are also available (e.g., tongue-and-groove edges)
- Always consult a structural engineer when doing permanent construction or structural work
- Store horizontally, in a dry place, and protected from sunlight
- Use waterproof covering if storing outdoors
- For long-term storage, keep the package open and protect it from weather when stored outside
- Do not move opened bundles – panels may slip
- Film-coated panels are especially slippery – handle with care
- Use a dust mask to protect against wood dust
- Wear protective clothing
- Always wear safety glasses to protect eyes from dust and splinters
- Always wear gloves when handling panels – edges can be sharp
- Use hearing protection when operating loud machinery
- When working on a roof: wear non-slip shoes, a safety harness, and a helmet
- Use high-quality, sharp tools for the best results
- Always follow installation instructions
- Consult a professional if you have questions about installation
- Reuse is the best option
- Plywood can also be chipped and used for energy production in appropriate facilities
- Do not burn plywood in home stoves or fireplaces. Burning treated wood and waste in household fireplaces may be prohibited by law. Burning plywood can produce impure smoke and soot, which can:
